With Chloe, her ability to see ghosts and even communicate with ghosts adds an abnormality effect to her life. She cannot live a normal life anymore because she is paranoid by the fact that ghosts are everywhere, surrounding her at all times. Though, some parts of the book are fictional and don't exist, there could be other problems that affect a teenager's life. We see how these girls who have issues learn to cope with their problems. Though these problems have a huge impact in someone's life, people learn to live with it, and perhaps they will find some beneficial advantages resulting from this issue. Sometimes if the incident happens and can't be undone, moving on would be a logical decision.
